What's in the Fund RaisingReal Estate
program for me?
A sense of personal satisfaction derived from your ability to monetarily
support a Worthy Cause of your choice and consequently make a difference
in your local community or half way around the world!
What does it cost me to participate?
There is no monetary cost to you. On average, it will take no longer
than 5-10 minutes of your time to contact us through our website or to
provide one of our staff with the necessary information over the phone.
We offer a toll free number for you to call us.
Where does the money for the Worthy Cause come from?
A typical residential real estate transaction involves the real estate
seller paying an agreed-upon commission amount to the selling broker,
who in turn splits the commission with the buyer’s broker. The
funds we donate to the Worthy Cause of your choice come out of the referral
fee that the selling and/or buying broker(s) pay to us from their commission,
after the transaction has been successfully concluded.
What is a Worthy Cause for the purpose of participating in this program?
Ultimately, a Worthy Cause is what you consider to be a Worthy Cause,
but with some exceptions (see the next question). Often, but not exclusively,
a Worthy Cause will be a non-profit or a tax-exempt organization or institution
that’s engaged in some form of social, community, educational,
or charitable service. Examples of Worthy Causes include your local high
school band, a local symphony orchestra, the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity,
churches, Doctors without Borders, libraries, etc. The Worthy Cause does
not have to be an organization. It could a person or family in need of
food, clothing, or medical care assistance resulting from catastrophic
or life-altering events.
Will Fund
Raising Real Estate
honor all requests to support all Worthy Causes for the purpose of participating
in this program?
No. We will not honor requests to support causes that are illegal, immoral,
political in nature, or strictly benefiting only yourself or your family.

The
Four Exceptions
Fund
Raising Real Estate
chooses not to knowingly give donations to the following:
- Political Causes
- Illegal or Terrorist Activities
- Immoral Activities (as defined
by us). If you are uncertain about your Worthy Cause, be sure
to pass your Cause by us prior to using our services.
- To the person(s) that direct
our donations, be they the persons buying or selling the real
estate or those that referred others to us. This also applies
to their immediate or extended family members or personally
owned businesses. Our desire is to not just pay people for
using our programs but to support legitimate Worthy Causes.
That said, a person could have some indirect benefit. For
example, if parents chose to designate a school program to
buy uniforms or pay travel costs for a band or sports team
in which their child participated, that would be fine. However,
we will not write a check directly to either the person(s)
buying or selling the real estate or to a person who referred
someone to us.

We reserve the right to refuse doing business with anyone, at
our discretion. |

Do I get a tax advantage from participating in this program?
No. The donation to the Worthy Cause comes out from the referral fee earned
by
Fund
Raising Real Estate. No
money ever comes out of your pocket and consequently there is no tax advantage
to you.
How long does it take for an agent to contact me from the time that
I sign up for the program with Fund
Raising Real Estate?
We will make every effort to have an agent contact you immediately. However,
it may take up to two business days and in some cases as long as five
business days.
Can I still participate in your program if I make a spur-of-the-moment
decision to buy or sell real estate?
Suppose you’ve been thinking about buying or selling real estate
for quite a while but have not contacted us. You then make a spur-of-the-moment
decision to see a house that’s for sale. Call us with the number
of the listing agent and we will immediately make every effort to contact
that agent on your behalf.
How do I sign up for the Fund
Raising Real Estate
program?
What if the real estate agent that you refer me to does not work out
for me?
If for any reason the agent that we sent you is not working out, please
let us know about it right away and we will send another agent to you
immediately.
